Australian and Oceania Open Water Champions

Coaches Trent, Codie and Ridge Grimsey have spent the best part of 12 years racing open water events at the highest level, all over the world.
Between them, they have won just about every race there is to win domestically and internationally, from surf races to marathons.
Both Trent and Codie Grimsey are former Australian Open Water Champions and Australian Swim Team members.
Trent currently holds the World Record for the fastest time ever swum across the English Channel!

Trent Grimsey

Trent Grimsey is the fastest person to have ever swum the English Channel. Being awarded the FINA Grand Prix Open Water Champion ranked him number one ultra-marathon swimmer in the world in 2012. Achieving everything he wanted to in the sport of marathon swimming Trent opted to retire on top in early 2013, at just 24 years of age. Known for his determination, work ethic and never say die attitude, Trent now focuses his attention to Grimsey’s Adult Swimfit, a place where he can share his knowledge and experience in open water with other swimmers.

Codie Grimsey

Codie Grimsey is a former Australian Open Water Champion and Australian Swim Team Member. He has competed in and won just about every ocean swim in Australia on multiple occasions. Codie, also known for his work ethic and commitment to training, is a student to the sport. He is a big believer in putting a lot of emphasis on drills and skills as they are the key to swimming efficiently, Codie now focuses his attention to Grimsey’s Adult Swimfit, a place where he can share his knowledge and experience in open water with other swimmers.
